In 2019 Lower Austria’s annual State Exhibition will take place in the city of Wiener Neustadt. It is being held in two very special main locations: the historic casemates dating back to the 16th century and the exhibition venue “St. Peter an der Sperr”, a former monastery with an adjacent church. The theme being mobility, motion and transport, the visitors learn more about the town’s development from Habsburg Empire to the present.
Three landmarked buildings at the center of Bad Radkersburg in Styria got connected to use the existing offer for exhibition and training rooms. A new building with two halls for 250 to 400 visitors supplement the existing offer and can be used for theatres, movies and concerts.
On an area of 8.000m² the new Culture and Business Centre in Weiz has been construced.
On an area of 2.800m² the new Culture and Event Hall in Lannach has been constructed.
Within the Styrian National Exhibition 2001 the former Dominican Cloister in Gleisdorf had to be adapted. Therefore following the guidelines of the state office for historical monuments in Austria the 100 year old cloister got revitalised and enlarged.
