– IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems

– Karl Landsteiner Private University for Health Sciences.

In two expansion steps (expansion stage 1 + 2), the property in Stein, which is owned by NÖ Landesimmobiliengesellschaft m.b.H. (LIG), a new building with construction costs of around € 76.8 million net and a Gross Floor Area of up to 28,321 m² will be built on the basis of a building permit.

Within this planned new building, apart from the three institutions, there will be also various common areas (such as a ballroom, etc.).

In order to meet the social responsibility of users, special attention must be paid to the issues of ecological and economic sustainability through the use of new and pioneering technologies. In particular, life cycle costs should be adequately optimized. The energy for heating and cooling is provided by geothermal probes.

The building services systems are characterized by a high degree of heat recovery.

In addition, a photovoltaic system will be installed on the green flat roofs.
