The Health Centre Josefhof in Graz specializes in stationary treatment for health promotion and preventive medicine.  In order to improve its care capacities, the new health centre will provide 120 patient rooms rather than the existing 71.

The new construction is built right next to the existing building, which will be demolished, once the new Josefhof has been completed. It will house seminar rooms, an outpatient clinic, a kitchen and a dining hall, administrative units and aquatic therapy zone.

Building complex Johannhof: Refurbishment

The adjacent building “Johannhof” will undergo extensive renovations, including thermal rehabilitation and installation of new windows. This building houses the health centre’s recreational area, which includes a bowling alley, subject to modernization as well. A coffeehouse and seminar rooms are also under discussion.

Outdoor area

To the south of the new health centre a pond will be constructed, which will also serve as a fire pond. To provide patients with additional opportunities for exercise, a running track is set to be built. Lastly, the parking space will be extended in order to accommodate the health centre’s increased patient numbers.
