Wien Energie GmbH operates a waste treatment plant and an office tower at Spittelauer Lände 45, 1090 Vienna. The existing high-rise office building is to be completely renovated on the 2nd, 3rd, 6th and 14th floors, covering an area of ??approx. 300 m² per floor. In addition to offices, there will be meeting rooms and access corridors, IT room at each floor, a kitchenette, as well as an archive on the 2nd floor and a lounge area on the 6th floor. The installation shafts in the refurbished area will be enlarged.

In the south and north wing, minor structural changes are also being made in individual offices on these floors, such as the demolition and installation of non-load-bearing partition walls and connecting doors. The existing non-load-bearing lightweight partitions, floor coverings and mineral fiber ceiling in the high-rise will be demolished, new non-load-bearing lightweight partitions (metal stud wall with plasterboard planking) will be installed. The ceilings are designed as suspended mineral fiber grid ceilings. The panes of the existing mullion and transom façade will be exchanged with sun protection façade. In addition, internal sun protection shall be implemented.

The existing RadialAir devices in the window area will be dismantled. The new fan convectors used for heating and cooling are connected to the existing heat supply system. New tea kitchens will be installed.
