The City of Vienna / Wiener Krankenanstalten Verbund is the owner of the property in 1030 Vienna, Juchgasse 22. A nursing school was located on this property, which was moved to the Kaiser-Franz-Josef-Spital at the beginning of the autumn semester 2010. In order to give this property a new use, the City of Vienna / Wiener Krankenanstalten Verbund have decided to build a new property after the nursing school was demolished. The following functional areas will be carried out in the new property, which will be constructed in a low-energy mode: New building of the Juchgasse 22 hospital, General Psychiatric Department, including connection to the main building, construction and installation of a Data Center, and an underground car park with 125 parking spaces. The General Psychiatric Department contains the following functional areas: 2 general psychiatric wards, 1 gerontopsychiatric ward, a day clinic, a therapy center, a psychiatry outpatient department, a pain outpatient department, a neurological outpatient department, a neurosurgical outpatient department and a clinical psychologists department.

The hospital has a net floor area of approx. 13,393.54 m2 and 66 systemised beds.
