Description:                  

Under the title "Wohnpark Csokorgasse" at Simmeringer Hauptstrasse 501 and 503 and Csokorgasse 4 and 6 in 1110 Vienna, a subsidized rental housing complex was built on three adjoining building sites.

The project consists of nine residential buildings and an underground car park under the entire complex.

The total plot area is about 18.000 m2 and the areas of the residential units amount to Gross Floor Area of 40.000 m2.

Total of 348 apartments and 230 underground parking spaces were built and the complex also has its own kindergarten. The construction time was around 2 years and the project was finalized in summer 2020.

Description:                  

The Institute of Science and Technology Austria (IST Austria) is a multidisciplinary research institute dedicated to cutting-edge research in the fields of physics, mathematics, computer science and life sciences.

IST Austria was founded in 2006 by the Austrian Federal Government and the State of Lower Austria. In 2009 the Campus in Klosterneuburg near Vienna was opened and the design of the laboratory and administration buildings began.

In the course of the second expansion stage, three laboratory buildings, an administration building, a cafeteria and an extension of the kindergarten were implemented. In the years that follow, completion of a further laboratory building, construction of a visitor center and construction of a bridge over the federal highway are planned. And the growth does not stop there. In 2026, a total of 1.000 people will be working on the Campus and 90 research groups will be looking for new scientific methods and results on a daily basis.

Innovations:

Description:

Campus Krems is one of the leading university locations in Austria, located 80 km from Vienna, in one of the most beautiful cultural landscapes of Europe, known as the Wachau. The Campus Krems Education Center shall be expanded by constructing a new building, with a gross floor area of 28.300 m2, which will be used jointly by three institutions:

  • Danube University Krems
  • IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems
  • Karl Landsteiner Private University for Health Sciences
In particular, the necessary framework conditions shall be created in order to correspond to the culture of openness, diversity of values and mutual appreciation lived by the users. By creating appealing meeting spaces that encourage exchange, the project shall open up to the surrounding area and blend in harmoniously with the urban environment. Inside, the students and the teachers shall be given the opportunity to pursue practical teaching and research in a pleasant atmosphere, due to the adapted light and air conditioning as well as the used materials.

In order to meet the social responsibility of users, special attention shall be paid to the issues of ecological and economic sustainability through the use of new and pioneering technologies. In particular, life cycle costs shall be adequately optimized.

The university location Krems is in the core zone of the UNESCO World Heritage "Wachau Cultural Landscape". The requirements of the Wachau World Heritage Management Plan shall be taken into account during implementation.

IZD Tower / Vienna

Descirption:

The IZD-Tower Sandoz project is an office interior fit-out for the global headquarters of the pharmaceutical company Sandoz, formerly Novartis Generics, on 3 floors in the IZD Tower. The project comprised 2 construction phases and a total of 5,400 m² of office space.

After the assignment, a location analysis was carried out and the IZD Tower at Wagramerstraße 19, 1220 Vienna was determined as the location of the global headquarters of the pharmaceutical company Sandoz. The construction time was limited to 3-4 months per section. This presented a high demand for logistics and coordination, since a large part of the expansion was custom-made, due to the award-winning design by the architect Delugan Meissl. An important requirement by the client was a compliance with the budget, which was achieved both times.

After the architectural competition had been carried out, floors 26 and 27 were rebuilt in the first construction phase in a period of 4 months. The initial situation was a shell construction with a floor area of around 3,000 m². 50 offices, 8 head offices, 1 reception area and 4 conference rooms were built.

In the 2nd construction phase, about half a year later, the 28th floor was rebuilt on the basis of the same architectural concept, whereby the main focus this time was on the creation of technically high-quality and future-oriented conference rooms and the subsequent installation of a humidification system on all three floors.

Descirption:

In 2001, DI Andreas Gobiet Bauträger GmbH acquired the old factory premises of the Huber Trikot company, including the production halls and warehouses located there, in 1110 Vienna, Modecenterstraße 17-19, and started to develop the property.

A zoning plan was obtained for the property under the working title SIMPLY 11. Approx. 55,592 m² of gross floor area and approx. 36,909 m² of office space were created in a construction period of 18 months.

Simply 11 is a modern business park that meets the latest office requirements in every respect. 5 components were built, each with a ground floor and seven upper floors. Below the entire area is an underground car park with around 350 parking spaces, which can be accessed from each individual component via the access core leading down to the basement.

In combination with the development of the business park, a residential building was also developed in the immediate vicinity of the Simply 11 office park, as a part of the urban development lead project "Added Value Simmering". Both projects are located directly on the U3 subway line.

The residential building is designed as an L-shaped, 7-storey building. A longer leg is N/S oriented, the shorter one E/W oriented, thus creating a protected open space oriented towards the newly created park. The orientation of the apartments given by the building configuration is optimized through their use of space. All living rooms are oriented to the south and west, the bedrooms to the north and west. Most of the apartments are designed as maisonettes. All apartments have terraces, verandas over the entire length of the apartment facade or roof terraces.

A common room, a shop and bicycle storage rooms on the ground floor, as well as open spaces in the courtyard used as play and relaxation areas complete the offer for tenants. A one-storey underground car park covers the need for parking spaces in an economical way, the courtyard area with a basement accommodates tenants' storage rooms.

Descirption:

In 2004, we prepared a development study for the new construction of a district police command and a police station on the previously undeveloped remaining plots of land belonging to the Amstetten District Authority.

Based on this, we carried out an architectural competition on behalf of the Province of Lower Austria, where the architectural design by Scheibenreif emerged as the winner. The new building for the district police command and the police inspection is designed as a 2-storey building with low-energy house standard and achieves a HWB value of 33.42 kWh/m²a.

Description:                  

With the newly built waste heat utilization plant near Weitendorf, the waste heat produced by the gas compressor stations is used to generate electricity for the first time. With this construction, OMV Gas & Power is assuming a pioneering position in this area. In total, the annual requirements of around 28,500 households are covered. Küttner Energy GmbH from Essen (D) was commissioned as the general contractor to produce the waste heat recovery system. The Küttner company commissioned Ingenos.Gobiet.ZT GmbH with the construction supervision of the works.

RVW Erdberger Lände 26, Vienna

Description:                  

Erdberg is one of the most important development regions of the Capital City Vienna. With the residental project LAEND YARD, four blocks with 267 residential units have been built on Erdberger Lände in an L-shaped structure. The whole area has been built with a basement to create car parking spaces and storage rooms. As part of this residental project, 60 to-rent apartments were offered, which were completed in mid-2018. The apartments have been built as 2- and 3-room apartments, almost all units have open spaces (loggia, balcony or terrace). In addition, the apartments have been equipped with complete kitchens, parquet floors in all rooms (excluding bath & WC), etc.

When choosing the building materials and fittings, special care was taken to ensure a high quality of living. Ingenos.Gobiet GmbH was contracted to protect the interests of the investors on site and to oversee the project from the project development to the warranty support.

Three spectacular apartment towers will be constructed in close proximity to the Belvedere baroque palaces and Vienna’s central railway station. The renowned Italian architect Renzo Piano designed the buildings in cooperation with the Austrian architecture office NMPB Architekten ZT GmbH.

The project comprises of 334 apartments with a total of 28,067m² and 99 parking spaces in the underground car park. Some of the apartments offer magnificent views over the Belvedere palaces and the Schweizer Garten (Swiss Garden). The prospective buyers can choose between luxury and to-rent apartments as well as independently financed living units. 

The reinforced cocrete construction rests on cetrifugally-cast concrete driven piles. A special component of the project is the spacious landscape garden with 12 meters of airspace on the second floor. All apartments are equipped with either a balcony, terrace or loggia.

School for Special Education Korneuburg

Description: 

The new building of the Korneuburg Special Education Centre was built as a direct neighbour of the Secondary School, on the grounds of the youth home and offers space for up to 100 children and young people, in a total of 14 classes. The Gross Floor Area of the new building is 4,200m2.

Particularly noteworthy is that the Korneuburg Special Education Centre was built using the lowest energy construction method with an energy consumption of 10-12 kWh / m2 per year. In addition, geothermal water pumps are used to heat the building, using a floor heating and a photovoltaic system.
