Description:
Under the title "Wohnpark Csokorgasse" at Simmeringer Hauptstrasse 501 and 503 and Csokorgasse 4 and 6 in 1110 Vienna, a subsidized rental housing complex was built on three adjoining building sites.
The project consists of nine residential buildings and an underground car park under the entire complex.
The total plot area is about 18.000 m2 and the areas of the residential units amount to Gross Floor Area of 40.000 m2.
Total of 348 apartments and 230 underground parking spaces were built and the complex also has its own kindergarten. The construction time was around 2 years and the project was finalized in summer 2020.

Description:
The Institute of Science and Technology Austria (IST Austria) is a multidisciplinary research institute dedicated to cutting-edge research in the fields of physics, mathematics, computer science and life sciences.
IST Austria was founded in 2006 by the Austrian Federal Government and the State of Lower Austria. In 2009 the Campus in Klosterneuburg near Vienna was opened and the design of the laboratory and administration buildings began.
In the course of the second expansion stage, three laboratory buildings, an administration building, a cafeteria and an extension of the kindergarten were implemented. In the years that follow, completion of a further laboratory building, construction of a visitor center and construction of a bridge over the federal highway are planned. And the growth does not stop there. In 2026, a total of 1.000 people will be working on the Campus and 90 research groups will be looking for new scientific methods and results on a daily basis.
Innovations:

- The active support of the media proved to be an important part of the positive public perception of the project. Positive newspaper articles were published regularly.

Description:
In the Donaustadt district, directly on the Hirschtetten bathing pond, a new urban development area is being created with around 1.000 residential units and an infrastructural offer, for the benefit of not only future residents, but also of all the neighbours.
The school campus right next to the construction area was completed in 2019. By the time the project should be completed in 2024, local amenities, shopping opportunities and leisure activities will be added.
The higher-level construction logistics is the information hub for all those involved in the project on site. It organises the construction site traffic and takes over the spatial and time-based coordination of interfaces between construction sites, infrastructure contractors and road construction. Furthermore, construction logistics is responsible for the overall construction site safety and develops construction process concepts and schedule scenarios for an ecologically and economically optimised construction at the entire area.
Scope of services:
- Monitoring and coordination of construction schedules and timelines between contractors of the buildings, contractors of the infrastructure and of landscaping parks, MA42, MA31, MA33, MA28
- Creation and continuation of the logistics matrix as interface management between construction of buildings, earthworks / greenery / media for the time-based and spatial coordination of construction processes.
- Development of construction process concepts and various future scenarios.
- Creation and updating of various plans, such as superordinate construction site plans, traffic plans and emergency plans and monitoring of compliance.
- Control and support of the updating of the construction schedules for the infrastructure contractor.
- Control and management of the heavy traffic of all project participants in and out of the construction site, including updating the traffic concept.
- Daily construction site controls and on-site inspections, including photo documentation.
- Planning, preparation, implementation and control of the traffic.
- Organisation and administration of the additional construction site equipment areas, including final auditing, approval of the construction site equipment planning.
- Planning and preparation of the soil disposal and support of earthworks.
- Coordination and support for higher-level construction site coordination (especially with regard to the structural separation of pedestrians and construction sites).
- Ensuring the flow of traffic in the project area, including the implementation of the traffic plan.

- Replacement of dilapidated water supply pipelines on priority sections and for reconstruction of two existing wells.
- Construction of new water intake and new water supply distribution network with reservoirs and pumping stations to connect 3,500 households.
- Construction of 2 wells (capacity cca 100 l/s), control command facility and procurement and installation of chlorination equipment;
- Replacement of existing asbestos-cement pipelines (T4) and pipes with insufficient profiles in the urban part of the town of Gradačac (cca 40 km) ;
- Reconstruction of central reservoir Skorici, 1.500 m3;
- Construction of 5 pumping stations in the new southern water supply system and of 5 booster pumping stations in the new southern water supply system;
- Construction of 6 reservoirs in the new southern water supply system;
- Construction of water distribution networks to be connected to the southern system (cca 80 km)
- Construction of wastewater collection system for 4 communities in northern area, total length of pipelines of 20.340m and 7 wastewater pumping stations
- Assessment of the level of utilisation of the existing water supply network and modification of the detailed design for a new water supply network in the southern part of the municipality

“Generational living” Wolkersdorf, young - old - socially - affordable

Descirption:
The municipality of Wolkersdorf in the Weinviertel intends to construct a municipal building in Wolkersdorf with the topic of GENERATIONAL LIVING. The property owned by the municipality has a size of almost 5.000 m². The target groups are both young people and teenagers, young couples (= first time occupants), single parents and young families, as well as more senior people, who want to move into a house with an active community life. Part of the project is also the establishment of a small kindergarten and a community healthcare facility.
The Feasibility Study included an analysis of possible future usage, development of legal models and organizational models for property developers and building rights models, as well as the economic and tax assessment of the future development.
The Feasibility Study served as a basis for the relevant committee decision and can be used as the basis for the subsequent architecture competition.

School for Special Education Korneuburg

Description:
The new building of the Korneuburg Special Education Centre was built as a direct neighbour of the Secondary School, on the grounds of the youth home and offers space for up to 100 children and young people, in a total of 14 classes. The Gross Floor Area of the new building is 4,200m2.
Particularly noteworthy is that the Korneuburg Special Education Centre was built using the lowest energy construction method with an energy consumption of 10-12 kWh / m2 per year. In addition, geothermal water pumps are used to heat the building, using a floor heating and a photovoltaic system.
